Camping At Lake Maraboon - Queensland

We then came to the city of Emerald were we finally stopped to sleep for more than simply overnight. We camped for two nights at Lake Maraboon, a man made lake.

There were probably 50 lorikeets flying around the camp area. They were quite beautiful however at times became a bit of a nuisance due to campers feeding them, promoting them to hover around the area expecting food.
