Carnarvon National Park - Queensland

Not far from Roma was the majestic Carnarvon National Park, where we viewed Aboriginal rock paintings, took some photos under the cabbage palm trees in the rainforest and hiked to Mickeys Creek and Warrumbah Creek Gorge.
Check out the little rock wallabies.

Baloon cave where aboriginals used to dwell. "Baloon" is the aboriginal word for axe. The aboriginals possibly used the rock layer in the cave to make stone axes.

Aboriginal rock art: Stoneaxe stencils and some hands can be seen here.

Natalie in front of the rainforest and cabbage palm trees.

Greg's first little echidna. Unlike the porcupine the quills are not shot out.
