Day 17 - Redbank, Angoves, Maldon - S.A., Victoria

Day 17 - We packed up and got back on the road back to Victoria. We stopped quickly at Angoves Winery in South Australia and tasted some wonderful wines and even an alcoholic Ginger Beer.

Though our goal was to once again camp at Hattah-Kulkyne National Park on the Murray River, the weather did not allow it. Strong winds had picked up and camping outside was not favourable. We entered Victoria and decided to stop in Maldon, and booked ourselves in the Eaglehawk Motel.

We all went out for tea at The Grand Hotel and reflected on what had been an exciting and adventurous trip. Larry and Mick were the best tour guides that beer could buy and without them the whole trip would not have been possible. We once again thank both of them for everything!

Another sunrise, this time from Redbank National Park.

A very good Southern Australia winery.

Goodbye South Australia, Hello Victoria!

Our room in Maldon.
