This video was taken on our camera in Bundaberg at a caravan park where we camped for the night. Greg got up early and caught these birds in action. Listen for the laugh.
The Kookaburra is Natalie's favourite bird in Australia.
Kookaburras are best known for their unmistakable call, which is uncannily like loud, echoing human laughter or possibly a monkey. A kookaburra's beak can grow up to 10 cm long. They are the largest king fisher in its family.
